Popular singer and music composer Cool Pokhrel a.k.a Abhimanyu died in 5 Oct. 04 at his resident in Kalimati. The cause of death is unknown. He was born on 21 Sept, 1981. He grew up in Butwal before moving to Pokhara and India for further studies. He enrolled in the London School of Technology to study business and music. His first song, Sun Meri Mayalu, was featured in the collection album Opus Get Together 2, in 1999. The following year, he also released his debut solo album Ama. After releasing Ama , Cool went to London and returned in 2002 to release his second solo album Hunna Ra? The title song Hunna Ra? along with the single Yo Ye Yo Yo are his biggest hits. One of Cool’s last music projects was the song Suun Ko Bala [performed by Avinash Ghising]. The song was completed a month before Cool’s untimely death. You can download the song here.
